Temporary Maintenance Assistant

Express Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation who are based in the heart of Nottingham, operating from their state-of-the-art site. Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive Property Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and smooth running of a large property.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within facilities management, and although the role starts off Temporary, permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in general maintenance, repairs, or groundskeeping
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools, ability to use at a basic level
  • Ability to communicate with individuals on site when required
  • Strong interest in property maintenance or development
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Maintain outdoor grounds to a clean, safe, and presentable standard
  • Carry out general property maintenance across both interiors and exteriors
  • Complete PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed timeframes
  • Log and report repairs, hazards, near misses, and H&S concerns
  • Assist with room setups for meetings, events, and property activities
