Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable educational institution to recruit an experienced Teacher of Maths on a permanent basis, starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Maths teacher to join a supportive and well-rated school based in Tonbridge, Kent. You will be responsible for delivering high quality lessons and contributing to strong student outcomes. The role would suit a candidate who is passionate about delivering their subject efficiently and will be confident working within a collaborative team environment.

Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven UK experience teaching Maths
  • Previous leadership experience, such as Director of Learning or Lead Practitioner roles, is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work to support progress and attainment
  • Monitor student performance and implement strategies to improve outcomes
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental and whole school goals
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
