Residential Site Engineer

Overview

Express Recruitment are excited to be working alongside one of the UK’s most reputable civil engineering firms who are on the hunt for a talented Residential Site Engineer to join their site team during an exciting period of growth!

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on residential construction projects, taking responsibility for projects across Nottinghamshire. Due to the role requiring travelling to sites a full, clean UK driving licence is required.

There is an excellent renumeration package on offer including a fantastic starting salary of up to c£55,000 D.O.E, travel expenses, company vehicle, private medical care and life assurance.

Skills & Experience
  • Experience working on residential projects from initiation to completion
  • Qualification in Construction Engineering or a relevant subject
  • Experience using CAD software
  • IT Literate including being proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Carry out accurate setting out activities, establishing correct levels, alignments, and reference markers
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring clear on-site communication for layouts, quantities, and material requirements
  • Work in line with project timelines, proactively supporting site progress and helping ensure key milestones are achieved
  • Organise daily activities by liaising with subcontractors, managing materials, and aligning tasks with the overall programme
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date documentation, including inspection records, as-built information, and environmental tracking
