Product Designer – Subscriptions – 6 Month Contract

Overview

Express Recruitment are proudly supporting an innovative and fast-growing digital business in their recruitment of a Product Designer to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team.

The successful candidate will join an established product team with the opportunity to work on impactful projects, contribute to product innovation.

This is an initial 6 month contract with the potential of becoming permanent. The role involves working in the central London office two days a week with some occasional travel required.

Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong balance of UX and UI capabilities
  • Strong UX focus with excellent problem-solving skills and user-centred thinking
  • Experience working as a T-shaped designer, with a solid understanding of research and its application to design
  • Demonstrable experience designing subscription-based products or services
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design processes and delivered outcomes
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional product teams
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, engineers, researchers and fellow designers within an established team
  • Design and enhance user journeys, particularly across subscription-based products and services
  • Contribute to the development of new product offerings, including new subscription models and features
  • Initiate and conduct user research to validate new opportunities and design concepts
  • Translate insights into user-centric design solutions and improved experiences
  • Create interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs ready for development
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs into production
  • Support continuous improvement of existing journeys through data and user feedback
