Football Tournament for Charity
Join Express Recruitment and Generation Next for a Football Tournament and Fundraising
We’re putting on a Charity Football Tournament in support of the Notts County Foundation and we’d love you to be part of it. Come along on Saturday 6th September to Southglade Leisure Centre in Bestwood for a great mix of friendly football and community support.
The tournament will run from 11am to 3pm. There’ll be time to compete, chat with other teams and get involved in our charity raffle, with prizes including signed shirts and club merchandise.
The winning team will receive a private box at a Notts County match next season. Guests will also hear from Notts County Foundation and Generation Next about how your support helps the local community.
Team entry costs £150 and spaces are limited. Get your team together and book early to take part.
A temp to perm arrangement (short for temporary to permanent) is a hiring model where a worker is initially engaged on a temporary or fixed-term contract, with the expectation or option of transitioning into a permanent role after a set period.
In practice, the process typically works as follows: a business engages a worker through a recruitment agency on a temporary basis, often for a period of 12 to 16 weeks. During this time, both the employer and the worker can assess whether the role and the relationship are a good fit. At the end of the trial period, the business may choose to offer the worker a permanent position, either directly or through a conversion arrangement with the recruitment agency.
It’s worth noting that temp-to-perm roles differ from zero-hours contracts or purely casual work. They are structured arrangements with a clear pathway to permanency, providing both parties with defined expectations from the outset.
What to Expect
Teams will arrive at Southglade Leisure Centre for a relaxed day of football and fundraising. We’ll start with a short welcome and a few words from Notts County Foundation and Generation Next.
There’ll be time between matches to chat with other teams, enjoy some food and buy raffle tickets. You could take home signed kit or official club items.
At the end of the day, we’ll have a short closing presentation to award the prize, draw the raffle and thank everyone for their support.
