Temp to Perm Trainee Accounts Assistant

Overview

Are you currently looking to kickstart your Accounts career with a reputable organisation? Do you currently hold an AAT Level 2 or similar? If so, our client needs you!

Our fantastic client is currently looking for a motivated professional to join their tight-knit, friendly Accounts Team, working from their modern Beeston offices on a full-time basis, initially Temporary with strong potential of the role becoming permanent.

This is an amazing opportunity for a hard-working candidate to work closely with an experienced Finance Manager, whilst learning new processes in a fast-paced environment, and therefore candidates who can demonstrate they have attention to detail are encouraged to apply!

Skills & Experience
  • Polite and professional attitude, willingness to learn
  • Ability to use Sage QuickBooks, MS Excel or similar accounting packages
  • Qualified with a L2 AAT or similar qualification would be advantageous
  • Good organisational and timekeeping skills
  • Demonstratable ability to accurately produce and update records
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day invoicing tasks using Sage QuickBooks
  • Prepare and issue invoices while ensuring accurate financial records
  • Chase outstanding debtors and monitor overdue accounts
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries in a polite, professional manner
  • Provide general accounts and administrative support to the finance team
