SEO Specialist

Overview

Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a market-leading business in their search for a SEO Specialist based in North Nottinghamshire.

This role will suit a commercially minded SEO professional with proven hands-on experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving organic growth across major retail brands, working closely with digital marketing teams to optimise performance and maximise visibility.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a salary of c£33,000 per annum, with a hybrid working model (4 days in the office, 1 day from home), alongside an extensive benefits and perks package.

Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in an SEO-focused role, either in-house or agency side
  • Good understanding of keyword research, SEO strategy, and ongoing optimisation techniques
  • Experience conducting technical SEO audits and resolving performance issues
  • Ability to analyse data and confidently present insights to stakeholders
  • Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Botify, or similar
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day management and optimisation of the SEO channel
  • Make and implement data-driven recommendations to improve SEO performance and keyword rankings
  • Analyse and enhance website architecture, internal linking, and on-page content to improve organic visibility
  • Collaborate with content teams to optimise category pages, landing pages, blogs, FAQs, and buying guides
  • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving issues impacting site performance
