Temp to Perm Press Brake Operator

Overview

Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a local manufacturing business who are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator/Manufacturing Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with previous experience operating machinery such as metal guillotines or press machines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing or warehouse background to join a growing team, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience operating metal guillotine or press machinery is essential
  • Background within manufacturing or warehouse environments
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Quick to learn and able to adapt to new processes
  • Driving licence essential
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Operate metal guillotine and press machines safely and efficiently
  • Work with materials and equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required
  • Support site-based work when needed, including occasional early starts
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production processes
