Secretary – Audio typing

Overview

Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established business who are seeking an experienced Secretary to join their team based in Mansfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and professional individual to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to senior team members within a busy office environment. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to delivering a high standard of work.

This role would suit someone with strong audio typing skills who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is looking to join a supportive and professional team. Skills & Experience
  • Strong audio typing skills are essential
  • Previous secretarial or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide full secretarial support to senior team members
  • Prepare documents and correspondence using audio typing and word processing systems
  • Manage files including opening, closing, filing and document control
  • Schedule appointments, manage diaries and coordinate meetings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, including recorded deliveries
  • Conduct administrative checks and ensure documentation is accurately recorded
  • Liaise with clients professionally via telephone and in person where required
  • Monitor key dates and deadlines to support workflow and task completion
