Property Manager – London Based

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Property Manager to join a well-established and growing property management business. A full UK driving licence is essential, as regular travel to sites across London and the Midlands is required.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in residential property management, with residential block management experience being essential
  • Good knowledge of lease obligations, Section 20 consultation procedures and relevant residential property legislation
  • Understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements within residential property management
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience using property management software is advantageous
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of residential developments, ensuring compliance with lease obligations and relevant legislation
  • Oversee contractors and maintenance works, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings, including AGMs and residents' meetings, providing updates on budgets, maintenance and expenditure
  • Manage service charge budgets and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Section 20 consultation procedures where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, contractors and stakeholders, responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service while supporting the continued success and growth of the business
