‘Closing’ the Interview:
Summarise why you would be good for the role, highlighting previous experience and point out your strengths.
Establish that you are interested in the vacancy:
- “This sounds like just what I’m looking for”
- “I am Definitely interested in the job role”
- “I would love to meet with the team/line manager"
- “Have you seen any other candidates”
- “How soon will you be making a decision?”
- “If you’re interested in me, I would be able to start fairly soon”
Stand up, shake hands and thank the interviewer for his/her time.
